Use Definitions

An IfcSwitchingDeviceType is a subtype of IfcFlowControllerType that provides for all forms of switch.

Usage of IfcSwitchingDeviceType defines the parameters for one or more occurrences of IfcFlowController. Parameters are specified through property sets that are enumerated in the IfcSwitchingDeviceTypeEnum data type.

Property Set Use Definition:

The property sets relating to the IfcSwitchingDeviceType are defined by the IfcPropertySet and attached by the IfcRelDefinesByType relationship. It is accessible by the inverse IsDefinedBy relationship. The following property set definitions specific to an IfcSwitchingDeviceType are part of this IFC release:
